The Month of Blessings Appeal

Ramadan is a month of giving and generosity, the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) was asked: ‘Which charity is best?’ He (s.a.w) replied: ‘Charity in Ramadan.’ [Tirmidhi]. During Ramadan, Muslims are reminded to show compassion to those in need and make their Zakat donation which ensures those living in poverty or facing hardship receive potentially life changing support. The contributions we receive are used to provide a better education for those in need and giving during the month of Ramadan ensures you can reap the greatest rewards whilst simultaneously helping your brothers and sisters.

During Ramadan, KEWCAT would like to increase to raise funds for projects in Kasgumma. We are there, in Kasgumma where children are enduring poverty and limited resources to a sound education; we are helping children in their most vulnerable time of need.

Our Ramadan project aims to make education more accessible through supporting children in need with necessities to further their education. Education, in turn provides a head start for a brighter future, which KEWCAT is providing children through your help.

This Ramadhan we appeal to you to contribute a fraction of your zakat towards the betterment of the orphan and needy children. This includes school fees and basic requirements needed to attain an education. We hold a 100% donation policy, so you can be at ease as to where your donations are being spent.

We are aware that Zakaat is only given to those who are entitled. We therefore reassure you that your funds will be given to the orphan, poor and needy children to help set up a more stable future for them.
